March 16 Rakkasah West -Vallejo, California. This is the largest belly dance festival in the world. Kamini & Samara make their debut Rakassah performance, Sunday, 11:48 am on the West Stage. No cover. May 14-18 Tribal Fest 8 - The Year of Infinite Possibilities, in Sebastpol, CA. Tribal Fest is the original and largest Tribal festival of its kind anywhere. June 7-8 Balloons over Bend Festival at The Shops at the Old Mill This year Balloons Over Bend will expand with a two day festival at The Shops at the Old Mill. Not only will balloon enthusiasts be able to see balloons flying over Bend throughout the weekend, but they can also enjoy some great festivities at The Shops and treat themselves to the Night Glow along the river. There will be activities for all ages at the festival including live music, a children's area, great food and Tribal Fusion performances by The Bijou Project at 4:30 PM on Saturday and 12 PM on Sunday. June 7 The High Desert Dance Festival - Bend, OR. Presented by Sahara, featuring Hasani and Sahara in workshop and performance. Kamini's students will also be performing! Come out and cheer them on! Performance times TBA. The Salem World Beat Festival is a two-day, non-stop program of international music, dance, food, hands-on crafts and folklore. The Beat is a professional-quality event celebrating the people and traditions of every continent. July 19-20 The Mediterranean Fantasy Festival- Seattle, Washington. Med Fest as it is affectionately known, is the largest and longest running belly dance festival in the Pacific Northwest. It is held at the Hiawatha Community Center, 2700 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA, from 10:00am to 9:00pm on both days. Kamini and Samara will be performing, details TBA.
